Neil Ouellette, the Fine Master, hit up folks for $2 for:

·         Going out to dinner on Valentines Day

·         Getting or giving flowers on Valentines Day

·         If someone had the name of their company on their shirt

·         And to Jon Flagg for “being late and parking in handicap parking” (LOL)

 

Last week we Rotarians were 100% on target for meal ticket to money. Congratulations to all.

We are implementing a bar code system to help with the payment to lunch ratio.

 

The GSE (Group Study Exchange)  needs host families from 4/28 – 5/1.

 

4 announcements:

·         Dave Underhill needed little Elves to assist with bar-coding the backs of badges after the meeting. Good crowd volunteered and all was accomplished in short order.

·         Diane Levine mentioned that this Thursday after Rotary, there will be a Visioning Meeting

·         Joanie Dickinson confirmed the Auction to be on April 19th and the location will be the Portsmouth Country Club

·         Ted Alex talked about his exciting trip to Bangladesh and the types of achievements that he and his Dr friends made on the lives of people with deforming diseases like cleft palette. we look forward to his presentation at a later meeting.

 

Russ Grazier Jr. was exuberant in sharing about PMAC (Portsmouth Music & Arts Center) and that businesses with tax liabilities can consider talking with PMAC about potential tax distribution write off’s. Russ was also excited to share that PMAC has plans to moving to another larger building in the area within the next year or so.

 

Then Russ introduced the Brewery Lane Big Band who rocked the house with the legendary sounds of Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington. Great, great sound! Thanks, Russ and BLBB!
