These annual awards are given to recognize FOUR individuals who practice high ethical standards in the workplace and exhibit vocational excellence, contributing to the quality of life here in the seacoast area.
The awards are presented to local residents, (non-rotarian, but from our club area) in four different categories:
Public sector
Education
Health & human service
General
Past recipients have included community volunteers, custodians, teachers, nurses, police officers, non-profit employees, care givers and musicians.
On June 6, the 19th annual Vocational Awards Ceremony will take place. Each award winner is given $500 to designate for scholarship to a candidate of their choosing.
