Training sessions have been scheduled. Participants will learn how to fit a recipient with the hand, or help in promoting the project to clubs who have not yet identified an international project. A volunteer trip is planned to the Dominican Republic early next year to deliver and fit the hands.
The trainings are scheduled for:
Tuesday, Sep 27, 4-7 pm
Location TBD (Possibly at New England Rehabilitation)
Thursday, Sep 29, 1:30-5:30 pm
Maine Medical Center, Portland, ME
Please register for the training no later than September 13 indicating the date of your choice by contacting John Curran at curraj1@mmc.org or 207-662-6357.
The training is offered by the Rotary Clubs of Casco Bay Sunrise and Portland.
