Portsmouth Rotarians mourn the passing of long-time club member Dr. John H. Randall of Wakefield. John passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 17, according to this brief notice in Foster's:

A spokesperson at the Purdy Funeral Service in Dover confirmed his passing and said that there will be no public funeral. John joined Portsmouth Rotary in 1984, with the classification psychiatrist. An extremely loyal Rotarian, club members will recall his strong attendance and his perpetual seat at the table to the right of the podium at PCC (except on the couple of occasions last fall when the media swarm tried to land in John's lap, at which time he made quite clear the line between press freedom and personal liberty). We miss his smile and his quiet, thoughtful conversation and presence.
